TauQuest Privacy Policy

TauQuest is a parent-managed educational app operated by Arha Ventures LLC. This policy explains what information TauQuest collects, how we use it, and the choices families have.
Information We Collect

Local Preview Mode
Kids can try TauQuest without a parent account. In preview mode, the app creates a local child profile on the device. The profile and practice memory stay on that device unless a parent creates an account to save the profile and sync it across devices.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage parent accounts and child profiles.
- To provide daily quests, topic practice, hints, diagrams, and reviews.
- To save progress and Rocky memory for each child profile.
- To sync account data across devices when a parent account is used.
- To respond to support requests and maintain app reliability.
- To protect the service from abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
Children's Privacy
TauQuest is designed for parent-managed use. Children are not asked to provide an email address. A parent can create and manage child profiles. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us at privacy@tauquest.com and we will review and delete the information where appropriate.
No Ads, No Tracking, No Sale of Personal Information
The iOS launch version of TauQuest does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information to track users across other companies' apps or websites.
Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to operate TauQuest, including hosting, storage, backend infrastructure, email/support handling, and Apple's App Store services. These providers process information only as needed to help us run TauQuest and support families.
Data Storage and Security
Parent passwords are stored as password hashes, not plain text. Session tokens are stored on the device using secure storage when available. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect account and learning data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
Data Retention
We keep parent account, child profile, and progress data while the account is active or as needed to provide TauQuest. Families can request account deletion at any time. We may retain limited records if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Your Choices
- Use TauQuest preview without creating a parent account.
- Edit child profile information in the app.
- Request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data.
